What's on your workdesk Wednesday
Something completely different this week on my (amazingly tidy!) workdesk.
Homework from the dressmaking class I attend - basting/tacking.
If you'd like to know more about WOYWW and see more desks pop over to Julia's...
Thank you to everyone who visited and left a comment on last weeks WOYWW post.

  2. That IS a tidy desk. I'm no seamstress. I dabble and sew all wonky. I never measure, and I tear rather than cut. You would call me a fraud, I bet. I sure like your desk, though. Happy WOYWW from #3.

  7. I LOVE those little shelves on your wall, I could do with some of them as I keep EVERY tiny thing on my stamp shelf, which tends to make it a bit messy...and they keep falling off!!
Thanks for my snoop, blogger was a lot better here this morning!
Have a great crafting week. HaPpY wOyWw!!

  11. Unfortunately most of the pictures on your blog aren't loading - beastly blogger playing silly bloggers again! - but I managed to catch a glimpse of your desk before it disappeared again! Lovely sewing. Also, I adore your blog background - that beautiful, beautiful vintage patchwork! Such subtle colours. I am sure every patch has a story to tell.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. The Zentangles are great fun, and highy addictive!

    Happy WOYWW,

  12. Oh, I envy people who can sew. I can sew a straight line, but that's about it.

  13. Aha!Another fabric fiend!! You look as if you've got as bad a habit as me :) Like your tidy cupboard, I could have a good rummage in there, lol! You've got way more patience than me doing dressmaking and...confession time... I never tack anything (I can hear the intake of breath from here!). Bad girl that I am, lol!!

  19. Hi Suzanne, this is my first visit to your blog but it won't be my last as I'm now following it! I love your blog background - is it a patchwork quilt you made? It's so eye catching.

I've just had a peek at a few of your earlier posts. Your craft cupboard looks amazing - especially with the cat in there - lol.

My husband is also a train enthusiast (real and model ones) so I understand the appeal of buying that poster - he'll love it framed.

Thanks for already visiting my desk this week

  22. Your craft area is certainly very tidy. I have also been nosing through some of your other posts and those buttons you made look a very good addition to your crafting arsenal. You also made me feel very hungry with all those cakes. Thank you for your visit this week.. I am horribly late replying, but I hope the rest of your week is really good. xx Maggie #7
