Eldest Boy was assaulted, and although the attacker has been caught it has still left EB with stitches, a fractured jaw and the prospect of almost certainly losing three of his top front teeth (at 18!). It's been a traumatic experience for us all but at least he is 'walking wounded' and when I think of what could have happened I feel grateful for that.
My lovely work colleague, Lucy is off to pastures new. Things are changing in libraries and self-service is being put in place meaning less staff are needed, so Lucy is off to the 'Big Library'. Today we had lunch to say our goodbyes, I'll certainly miss her.
I have lots to share with you so I'll be back soon, when I am in a more positive frame of mind!

Oh Suzanne, I'm so sorry to hear about your eldest boy, what is the world coming to! Hope he is soon on the mend. I've yet to order mollie makes Christmas, it looks so lovely from the pictures I've seen. Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Oh Sauzanne, I'm so sorry to read this. I hope that your son is OK. What is wrong with people?! I'm not surprised you're all shaken up. Take it easy. I haven't bothered even looking at the Mollie Makes book as what you wrote in your post about it is what I've always felt about the magazine; great photos etc but poor projects. More style than substance, I feel. I'm sorry that you're disappointed with it. I'm waiting for my Christmas pre-orders. The Cath Kidston one is due early next week. Can't wait! Look after yourself. xxx

Sorry to hear about your son. I hope he's making a good recovery. I'm sure you'll really miss your work colleague. This happened to me when our office was closed but lucky we've all kept in touch which is lovely. Isn't it disapointing when your looking forward to getting a book and it's not quite what you expected. If i'm not sure how it will be I have a sneaky look in a bookshop before ordering online(cheaper). Hope you have a peaceful weekend.
