I've finally got my making mojo back (I was getting a bit worried as the next fair is the 5th April).
These are my latest makes - lavender bunnies, and one lavender kitty (prototype - hopefully more will be made soon). I'm rather loving them, hopefully others will too.
Organising the fair is taking up a lot of my time at the moment (the person I was organising the fairs with is unable to do it anymore) and seems to have dominated the year so far, I still have lots bunting and a fabric banner to make as well as all the paperwork, and things to make for my stall.
A lot of work, but enjoyable, creative work!
Do you plan to sell at fairs this year?
What do you plan to make?
Thanks for visiting
xXx
These are super cute - good luck with all your craft fayres. I'm taking part in one on the 22nd of this month and still have fully got into making enough for it - fortunately I'm sharing a table with my friend who quilts so we can always fill it with all her lovely makes if I fall short.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your fair Linda. Are you selling cards? XX
Deleteoooh these are fab Susanne, am sure they will sell quickly. Annette x
ReplyDeleteThank you Netty - I hope so, it's always difficult to predict what will sell I find. xXx
DeleteBoth bunnies and kitty are so pretty!! I hope that the sale goes well and that you find someone to assist to take some of the burden off you. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy. The good thing about being the sole organiser is that I get to make all the creative decisions! xXx
DeleteThey look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter makes jewellery and I know how manic it is before a fair preparing everything.
X x
It's even worse with jewellery as it's so small so you need a lot of it to fill the space! Thanks for your comment. xXx
DeleteWe are doing the Arundel garden fete on 29th so it's all go! I'm making Kanzashi flowers at the moment. Love your bunnies...I had traced the Sarah Moore pattern a while ago...now I'm inspired. Thanks for sharing. Eco Ethel xx
ReplyDeleteI tried the Sarah Moore bunny, but it turned out a bit small and it didn't turn out to be the bunny I had in my head! Hope the Arundel fete goes well, I'm wondering if I'll be able to make it as it's fairly close to me distance wise. xXx
DeleteThose are so adorable Susanne. They will sell quick. Love their expressions.
ReplyDeleteNo craft fair selling for me. I think about doing one. Maybe one day. I plan to do another unfinished quilt and continue finishing up my tea towels for Mother's Day gifts.
Happy sewing and have a wonderful day.
Blessings,
Bobbie Lynn
Thank you Bobbie Lynn. Seems like you're busy enough without selling at a craft fair! xXx
DeleteI love your bunnies - so cute! Hope the fair goes well.
ReplyDeleteThank you Marianne, I'm rather smitten with them!! xXx
DeleteAw there so cute! love the lavender kitty. No plans as yet for any craft sales but I will probably be roped into one somewhere hehe x
ReplyDeleteThank you, more kitties now made. Do you make especially for a craft sale or make and store just in case? XX
DeleteAdorable! Seriously!
ReplyDeleteThose bunnies are gorgeous!! I'm so glad you got your mojo back!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a great weekend,
Tammy x
Thank you Tammy, I've just finished some kitties to go with them! XX
