Floral Fringe Fair

Yesterday Mr B, myself and Youngest Boy had a lovely day out to this fair close to where we live.
I'd heard a lot about this fair but it was my first visit and it certainly lived up to expectations...
It is in a beautiful location and the weather was gorgeous, a bit hazy at times but warm.
The fair included vintage stalls, vintage transport, plants, handmade stalls and lots of local food stalls. We all really enjoyed it and I can't wait for next year!!!

This is the view we had when eating our picnic lunch, bought at the fair

and this is my favourite purchase of the day
I'm going to make a herb garden in it.
Although I worked on Saturday I had such a lovely weekend that I'm still feeling very relaxed - I just hope I don't forget to go in to work later!
How was your weekend?
Thanks for visiting
xXx

    1. The caravan is adorable - I looked on ebay when I got home, and there was a very similar one with bids up to £2,5000 and still time to go... Don't think I'll be purchasing one - had a dream of putting it on the drive and using it as a sewing room! Nice while it lasted!! XX

  3. That looks like a fun fair ... I love the little caravans ... especially the gypsy caravan!! I have a few tin washtubs too, but can't bring myself to drill holes in the bottoms for plants so they are used indoors for other things. Wendy x

    1. Hi Wendy, Luckily mine already has holes drilled in the bottom otherwise I'd probably be having a similar dilemma! XX

  6. What a wonderful day out. I love your photos of the caravan it's gorgeous inside and out. What sort of food was the french revolution van selling? Hope you've had thyme to plant your herb garden. Have a lovely week.

    1. Oh, I so fell in love with that caravan! I was a bit gutted actually because I took the photo for Mr B as he liked the look of the van. When I uploaded the pics at home I saw it was selling crepes which I love (nutella - yum) and I hadn't noticed it when we were buying our lunch! XX

  7. Looks like you had a great day out and reasonably priced too I noticed.
The little white estate car gave me the shudders though, my old headmaster had one of those and he stays with me after all these years, he was horrible.

    1. It's funny how things like that stay with you - horrible headmaster and you always think of that every time you see a car that he had! I remember one of my teachers in middle school always wore a blazer with metal buttons, everytime I see a similar button I remember the pain of getting my hair caught around one of the buttons on his blazer. I often wonder how I got to be standing so close!! XX

  9. What a great way to while away the hours, Suzanne, and oh, I haven't seen one of those old washtubs in so many years - what a wonderful sight that is; it's going to look great all planted up and I'll be looking forward to seeing your lovely herbs growing like crazy! Isn't that caravan the sweetest thing - it reminds me of playing house when I was little! xoJoy

  10. The caravan was adorable, beautiful fitted out - I could spend a lot of time just sitting in somewhere like that just daydreaming the day away. Youngest Boy carried the tub to the car for me and had lots of comments from people about it. XX
